Lieut William Calderwood

I am surprised there is no mention here of Lieut. William Calderwood, British troops, killed near Grays Hill, SC Feb 3 1779 and buried in Beaufort Anglican Church cemetary. Perhaps some of you would like to pay a visit. Union Jacks mark the spot. I am quite interested in his story and his family back home....or was he simply a native Loyalist? E mail welcome.
