Thanks for your reply to my posting. I am not sure which particular line of Calderwoods I am descended from as I have only recently started tracing my ancestors. I am having trouble finding records of them but this is what I know so far.
The # indicates my line.
# John Calderwood married Ellen (Scanlon ?) surname had to read.
They had one son that I can find so far.
# Alexander Henry Calderwood born about 1862, possibly at Hamilton, Victoria, Australia. He married Rose Anna Costelloe on 24th September 1882 at Cleremont, Queensland.
They had 6 children.
Marian Calderwood born 6th October 1886 in Queensland.
# Henry Calderwood born 24th March 1889 at Rockhampton, Queensland. Henry appears to have taken on his fathers name after his father died.
Agnes Calderwood born 25th December 1890 in Queensland.
Clarence Calderwood born 20th July 1892 in Queensland.
Olive Calderwood born 1st July 1894 in Queensland.
Chlorine Calderwood born 22nd September 1897 in Queensland.
(Alexander) Henry Calderwood married Amelia Jane Llewellyn on 24 June 1913 at Grafton, N.S.W.
They had 5 children.
# Olive Jean Calderwood born 3rd February 1915 at Grafton.
Agnes Amelia Calderwood born in 1918.
Alexander William Calderwood born in 1920.
Clarence Henry Calderwood born in 1921.
Theresa Mary Calderwood born in 1924.
Olive Jean Calderwood married John Thomas Smith on 5th August 1941 at Sutherland N.S.W.
They had 3 children.
Agnes Amelia Smith born 10th January 1942 at Sutherland.
# Jacqueline Florence Smith born 7th June 1943 at Sutherland.
Edna Marie 27th July 1948.

Do you know of any South Australian Calderwoods that may have migrated through Victoria and N.S.W. to Queensland ?.
