Thanks for the information you just sent on the Calderwoods. I have been trying to sort out all of the ones in Chicago. I have quite a bit of information about William John Reid and was trying to connect to the Alexander Reid in Chicago (my wife's grandfather) but had not been too successful. On Rachel Reid's death certificate it has that her maiden name was Calderwood but I didn't know where she fit in to all the Calderwoods. Rachel's daughter Sadie Stuppy was the Sunday School teacher for my wif's father Samuel Reid when he was very young. Sam always told us that Sadie was his cousin but we have not been able to figure out how. Likely it is a second cousin. In Sadie's obituary there is a reference to her aunt Eliz Russell. Do you know who she would be?
thanks for the help.
