Hi Jenni, are you sure that you have the correct place name in Scotland as does not sound/spell correctly although I am sure in the 1800s places were different.

I am originally from Motherwell, Lanarkshire, and we have traced an Alexander Calderwood from County Antrim in Northern Ireland born in 1835.
