that is about the story of it for most calderwoods here in the states. I remember my parents recieving a letter asking donations for the preservation of the calderwood home in scotland. I have heard that family members came here to serve durring the war of 1776 and later and have had atlest one member serve in each war since then from america. It is also my thought that we here are mostly trying to find roots to get back there. nice to meet you cousin. pete johnson
