Doug my mother is a Calderwood born her dad's name is Grimms calderwood his dad was david calderwood. then the line is broken in tyrone Penn. this city seems tobe a focal point for most calderwood researchers, I do know that three calderwoods served in the colonial army but my orial history from my great uncle was that when my ancester disembark fom the British warship his company turned right and he turned left heading for the hills. Several famous people are conected to the family line now though my wife two presdents and though me a couple of actors and the band leader of W. W. 2 fame Fred Waring an That is all I know for now. I am stuck at tyrone and untill that block is broken I can not get back to Britain and that is my goal. good luck pj
