dave just after your e-mail came I recieved more information on this family.on the D-list at the top is james Calderwood who as a capt.,fought under gen Braddock (english) french and Indian war)he had two brothers a andrew and a Adam as far as I can figure out. This James C died later in the battle of brandywine about 1777-8 fighting on the cont., army side. He may be listed in the national archives as a member of army. hope the information helps. I also learned for Glen C of portage bay pa. that the photo of Jesse is the mother of the waring clan and is mounted on a wall in the town of waring pa. enjoy the information as I have as I talk to glen I will gather more information and send it along. thanks pj
