Could your inquiry be for Nelson C. Cales? I am tracing genealogy for John Cales, father of A.J. Cales, brother to Nelson C. Cales (1846-1938) who was married to Nancy E. Treadway (1849-1939) in Iroquois Co. Illinois 6-19-1867. They are buried in the Burden Cemetery, Burden, Ks. next to a gravestone for an infant named Ira. I have a picture. The record of their marriage can be obtained at The 1860 census of Concord Twp., Iroquois Co., Ill. shows a Clawson (Nelson C?), age 13, born in Indiana, son of John Cales. The 1870 census does not show him living in the household. I would like to exchange information with you.
