If it's not too much of an effort, could I have a picture of W C Calhoun?
As the story goes, John C. Calhoun had relatives in Pennsalvania that he approached about the "Great War" that was sure to take place. He encouraged them to come south because the south was sure to win, they encouraged him to get on his horse and ride south for they would have no part in a war to seperate the states. Some changed their name to Calhoon or various other spellings. James Martin Calhoun's law office is a part of Selma's historical display. I am from Selma.
Best Regards,
Charles
