Hi, Suzanne!

My great great grandparents were Daniel Green Calhoun and his first wife Ophelia Dixon. His son Dougal was my great grandfather. Their first four kids: Laura, Dougald (Dougal), Augusta, Leon. Daniel married Catherine Davis after Ophelia died, and they had Allie, John, Carolina, and Evander. I think this John is the John C. you are talking about. He was my great grandfather's half brother.
