Calhoun/Kirkpatrick connection?
Posted by: Jerry Kirkpatrick (ID *****9260) Date: December 04, 2010 at 17:55:41

I have recently had my Y-DNA analyzed, and the two people closest to me are both Calhouns. Is there a chance some brothers or cousins, all members of Clan Colquhoun, came to America in the late 17th or early 18th century and some took the surname Calhoun and others, Kirkpatrick? Has anyone discovered anything like this?
