I'm glad your aunt listened to the family stories and that you have continued with the research. The Civil War story is interesting even though you disproved it.
I posted a new message under the Calhoun family forum to see if I am on the right track with Drusilla. If so, then this would apply to you. It's titled John Calhoun and Margaret Morrison.
Good luck with your continued research and I'll post anything new that I find. I'm also interested in possibly connecting this line of the family to the DAR.
