I have a Humphrey Golden Calhoun and have been desperately looking for more info.
I was told his parents were full Irish, and I think he is directly descended from the original clan, but I have no names.
Born April 8, 1846 (Saturday at 8pm) in Philadelphia, PA.
Died 1881 at war from "tubercular throat".
He was enlisted in the Civil War, Northern Side, Union Army.

married Eliza Reeves from New York.

Their daughter(my G.G.Grandmother) was Mary Emma Calhoun (born in Wash DC, 1881-1921)
Any info would be greatly appreciated!!
Thank you,
Breonna
