While I don't have specific information on your particular Calhoun, most of the Calhouns in Beaver County (Hookstown, Mill Creek) are related.Try to find a copy of "800 years of Colquhoun, Colhoun, Calhoon and Calhoun Family" by Orval O. Calhoun, a typed 4-volume history that is available on microfilm.Your James Calhoun may have been a brother of Johnston Calhoun (1819-1891).The Orval Calhoun history gives a wealth of information, but may make a leap or two of faith when it comes to jumping to Ireland and Scotland. The Beaver County Calhouns seem to have come over about 1790 from Derry in Northern Ireland, and he then connects them to the "main" Colquhoun clan out of Rossdhu/Loch Lomond. If I can be of other assistance, please let me know.If you have access to a Mormon genealogy center, the film numbers are "US Can. Film Area, 1697322, items 1-3, and 1697848, item 8". Jan Clausen
