I will try to get this right. David(your line ) and Moses( my line) were brothers: sons of Elijah. so that makes us cousins, I guess. I was looking thru some stuff and found some information from the family Bible of David and Mary Calk.
David Calk b. april 16, 1816(?) d. Jan. 27 1849
Mary Honeycutt b.Nov. 20 1823 d. Dec. 12, 1916
children:1. William Turner Calk b. Aug. 16, 1847 d. Jan 27 1849
2.Cornelia Victory(Victoria?) Calk b. Aug.24, 1849 d.!ur 1854
3.Washington Columbus Calk b. July 7, 1851 d.Dec. 6 1893
4. Isaac Richerson(Richardson?) Calk b. April15, 1853
5 Eria Ann Calk b.Feb 14, 1855
6. Oliver Calk b.Dec. 16, 1856 d.Jan.7 1923
7. Travice(Travis) Calk b. Feb.22 1860
8. Benjamin George Calk b.July 7 1862
9. David Calk, Jr. b. Aug. 16. 1865 d. July 16,1883
10. Mary Lena Calk b. March 30, 1870 d, June 30. 1874
There is more about the marriages of some of these and the children born to them if you need it. Remember none of this is written in stone it is only what I have and the researcher died 20 years or more ago.
