Oh, thank you so much!! Now here is where I'm speculating, but, the dates seem to fit...

I also found the marriage record for Earley Jack to Rebecca Fox in 1845. The birth date I have for my Early Jack (note the difference in spelling) is one year after the marrieage of your Earley Jack. It seems that your "Uncle Jack" could be the father of an Early Jack (Jr.?). Would you have any information about the children of Earley and Rebecca or where and when they lived/moved (Alabama -> Louisiana)?
