Actually, the "hard" evidence shows Elijah
Calk of Wayne Co. GA as receiving a lot in Baldwin Co.GA in "The Second or 1807 Land Lottery of Georgia," however, the First or 1805 Land Lottery of GA settled the original Wayne Co., from which Elijah Calk hailed at the time-but, I do not have physical-"hard"- evidence of a date for Wayne Co. other than the aforementioned 1807 land lottery listing.So, 1807 has got to be my earliest physical evidence of Elijah Calk in the old US of A.
