Sorry for the delay. We were out of town for a week or so, and then some house guests kept me occupied.
I would suggest that pictures of gravestones and other items of Calkins family interest in that area be displayed at the Calkins Family Association reunion which will be held in Syracuse, NY, next May 1. I am not sure that you are a member of the Assn, but it is easy and cheap to join.
Also, your mention of an "Uncle David" tells me that the information in our genealogy database is not complete, because our data says that your grandparents Douglas and Alice Reagan Calkins had only one child - Peter. I would like to get any more information on the family.
