Hi, Sam;
We are always interested in helping some search for a Calkins line of ancestry.
I have searched the genealogy database of the Calkins Family Association, and,unfortunately, I cannot find this couple. We have a number of Margaret Calkins listed, but no name of Truslove, and none married to a Collins man.
I would like to work with you to see if we can place her.
If the middle name of Truslove is correct (and not a misreading of Truelove) then it probably came from a family name, so I also did a quick search there with no success. From what I saw, it seems the Truslove family was primarily in England or Australia.
From her marriage date ("middle '30's") I assume her birthdate was about 1905. Do you have any better estimate? You mention NY. Was she born there? Do you have any town or county? Do you have any more on her Collins husband that we might use to search?
