Thanks Ken. Could Mary be the Maria Bunnell that Benjamin and Elizabeth are living with in the 1860 & 1870 census records?

Philena Almira Calkins did marry Daniel Chapin Chipman. Philena was born in New York in 1815 or 1816 and grew up in Oakland County, Michigan where she met and married Chipman. I ruled out all the male siblings of Benjamin Ellis Calkins as her possible father. He is the only likely candidate.

I have a great deal of information on all of the children of Philena and Dan Chipman. Their daughter Harriet Arrabella Chipman married Jackson Joseph Kendall. Harriet & Jackson were my great-great grandparents.
