Hi, Mary;
The answer to your last question is "probably", but after that I get less certain.
The most common female name in the genealogy database of the Calkins Family Association is Mary (followed rather distantly by Sarah) and, unfortunately, we do not have marriages for many of these. We do not have a record of a Mary (or anyone else) who married a Charles Pomeroy, and all of the Marys born around 1830 in the vicinity of Lowell Mass apparently married someone else.
Do you have any other information about Mary which might help me in picking her out of that big group?
