Hi, Don;
The answer to part of your question is fairly straightforward. Yes, the marriage of David Calkins and Hannah Leach is recorded in New London records.
The other part is pretty fuzzy. Hannah was likely the daughter of Clement Leach (b 1697 New London - d 1772) and elizabeth Keeney (b 1690 New London - 1777). However, this is based mostly on the coincidence of time and place. I know of no documentary proof of her parents. The background of Clement and Elizabeth can be traced quite a ways back.
Do you descend from them? I descend from thier son Ezekiel.
regards, Ken Calkins.
