Unfortunately, I do not have info on your Daniel. I was hoping that possibly he would turn out to be one of the Daniel's in my Callaghan bunch who married and moved away from Hastings County.

My Callaghans came from County Cork and arrived in Canada in about 1826. More Callaghan's joined them over the next 25 years, many of whom stayed only a few years and then moved on.

I will keep an eye out for your Daniel - I often come across records as I search.

Sorry I couldn't offer any help.
