Jann - it certainly would help to eliminate some of the possibilities, wouldn't it? So, as far as we know, our Daniel Callaghans are not the same person. But they could still be closely related, my Callaghan is supposedly from Co. Cork also. You probably know by researching the name in Ireland that all the Callaghans originated from the same family.

As I mentioned I cannot even prove exactly what time frame they emigrated to Canada. I found one who came into the states in the early 1840's.

If I only had the marriage information!!!
