callaghan family cork to canada

I am researching the Callaghan family from Brigown, Cork county around 1825. The family is that of Thomas, born in 1785, who was married to Judith (not sure of her family name at this point). This couple has several children and went to Canada in 1825 as part of the group of Irish immigrants aboard the 'Amity', who were led by Peter Robinson . He was responsible for bringing some groups for settlement around Petersborough. The children's names are Thomas jr., John, Mary, Patrick, Jeremiah, Margaret, Catherine and Joanna. I am particularily interested in the daughter, Mary, fifteen at the time of arrival. I am looking for a Mary Callaghan who married Thomas Leduc of Simcoe county, Ontario around 1836. This Mary seems to fit the age group and the info I have of her is very scarce to say the least. She seems to have not much of a history and I am wondering if this is because she arrived with her family while in her teens. This family, I think, settled around Emily Township as I have found some records of Thomas acquiring land there. After that, I come up blank. I have a few leads on the boys but it is really Mary that I am interested in. If this is the right girl, then more research on this family is justified otherwise I should pursue other avenues. Thanks very much for any info that anyone has. Rena
