Book; History of Callanders in Scotland.
Hello there. My name is James Swinton-Callander. I am the 28th in direct male line of descent from the old Callanders of that Ilk, Thanes of Callander.
I have written a concise history of the Swinton and Callander families, which details every member of my Callander family back to my 24 times gt.grandfather, David de Callander, who was first granted the Barony of Callander in 1138. I hope to have copies available this summer. If anyone would be interested in a copy, please let me know.
I'm happy to reply to any queries on details of my family history.
Regards,
James.
