William James Callihan

I am looking for information on my triple-great-grandfather. I would like to find out his parents names, if possible, but I think it might be a long shot, considering that I've been looking for about two years.

His name was William James Callihan. He was born in July, circa 1865 in North Carolina. There isn't any reference to him (that I can find and say concretely that lists him) until he married Mary Ricketson in Coffee Co., Georgia in 1889. From there he appears on the 1900 and 1910 census, both years in Coffee Co., and in 1920 in Atkinson Co., GA. After that, there aren't any references to him.

William James Callihan (circa 1865 - after 1920/30?) b. in North Carolina, d. most likely in GA. Married Mary Ricketson on Oct 16, 1889 in Coffe Co., GA. She was born in April 1875 and died Sept. 24, 1915. She's buried in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Kirkland, GA. Mary's parents were Thaddeus Ricketson and Mary Corbitt.

Their children were:

Charles W Callihan (1890 1949) died in Jacksonville, FL. He had at least one son, Warren Walter Callihan (1913-1986).

Albert Earl Callihan (1892 1934) died and is buried in Lake City, Columbia Co., FL (my great grandfather)

Benjamin Franklin Callihan (1894 1939) died and is buried in Lake City, Columbia Co., FL. Cause of death: car crash. Had at least one daughter, Louise (1922 - ?).

Mary E "Artie" Callihan (1898 ?) Her name is listed as Mary E(something I can't read) and Artie on census records.

Vernice Callihan (1900 ?)

Marvin Don Callihan (1908 1981) Died in Graceville, Jackson Co., Florida

Joseph Callihan (1910 1911) buried in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Kirkland, GA.

Mollie Callihan (1912 - 1912) buried in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Kirkland, GA.

Any information on William or his children would be much appreciated!

-Alisha Morgan
