Natalie,
The Brazoria County Historical Museum (http://www.bchm.org/) has a portrait of Thomas that was done in charcoal. The museum's bookstore sells copies of The History of Liverpool, Texas, and Its People, which has numerous mentions of Thomas including a biography of him that is illustrated with the portrait and with a photograph of son, William Clark Callihan, and daughter, Harriet Callihan Holt. (I have a transcription of Harris County marriages which lists the name of his wife as Polly TOLBOT, Jan. 7, 1838, being the marriage date. The Liverpool history says she was Mary Carr "Polly" Talbot.)
