Try if you haven't already. Just type in"Thomas Jefferson Callihan" and it will give you some sites to check. That is primarily where my information has come from. Texas Handbook and Texas sites such as the one for Liverpool, Texas have been helpful.
Is there a copy of that book you wanted in the Brazoria Co. Library? You might be able to get an Inter-library loan.

Your grandfather's name isn't familiar, but that doesn't mean anything. Places and dates would help me to be on the look out for information. Also, anymore names would help.
