I just recently found my connection to the de Cams, back to Harding, and his father, Eadnoth. I, too, go through the Brownings to get there. In that respect our genealogies seem to be in agreement. There seems to be a great deal of information on the Berkeley branch of this family, which branches out with Maurice, son of Robert FitzHarding and Eva. Eadnoth, father of Harding, is mentioned in the Saxon Chronicles, an early record of Saxon conquest.
