Dear Scott Camlin.
The last name of my mother-in-law was Camlin.
Her family was from Newcastle, Co. Down. The family plot is at the Church of Ireland, Bryansford at the foot of the Mourne Mountains.
Her Grandfather, William Camlin owned and operated the funeral undertakers in Newcastle. They also made coffins from raw logs to finished product.
There is a bridge over a stream on the Tullymore Road near Newcastle which bears the Camlin name. The family home is adjacent to the bridge, which gave rise to the bridge being so named.
