My Camus line goes back to Marie Camus, Cheticamp. NS. (1800-05) She married my GGG grandfather Jacques Webb. Have a look at the following site. Don't know if this is the same line you are researching but Jean Camus mentioned there. When the Camus line came to Bay St George, NF in the early 1800's the name eventually changed to Cammie. There are a number of Cammie's living in the Bay of Islands area.
