My grandmother, Anna (Candra) Vesely, was born in Chicago, Il.
23 December 1883 to Joseph Candra & Anna (Raisler) Candra.
She was the 6th. child born to them. At least 5 were born before
her and had died. Other children that I know of, born after my grandmother
were Edward and Henry. I think there may have been others.
Joseph Candra was born in Bohemia 4 March 1854 and died 17 June 1935
in Braidwood, Il. His wife, Anna Raisler Candra was born 6 March 1857
in Bohemia. Her parents were Jan (John) Raisler and
Josepha (Josephine) Jelinek.
Any information on these family names would be greatly appreciated.
