Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I am researching the descendants of James Charles Cane, a congregational minister born in St Marylebone London in 1817, who married Fanny Buckell in Chichester in 1844. They moved around a lot, to Surrey, Hertford and parts of London, ending up in Fulham. I have a great deal of information on some of the descendants and indeed on some members of the Buckell family. Two of James Charles brothers emigrated to Australia, and I have some information there. Lots of doctors and governesses (no prizes for guessing the gender split.
Would like to make contact with anyone whose research might intersect. Other names associated with the research include: White, Biel, Pinhorn, Skelding, Oyler, Wyatt, Spence, Sancton, Du Cane, Guyot, Wynne, Johnson.
