I believe this family is also the Cain family connected to my Poteet family of Johnson Co., Texas. Darling M. Cain can be found in the 1920 Ellis Co., Texas census. He had a son Golden G.M. Cain born 1/28/1881 in Georgia who was married to my mother's 1/2 Aunt Fannie Poteet. She has family living in Johnson Co., Texas. Hope this information helps.
I have no additional information on the Cain family.
