O'KAIN , William (1808 - 1883) of County Clare, Ireland to USA 1835-Dickson County, TN

William came to America in 1835 with brother John O'Kain who settled in South Carolina and two sisters, Mary O'Kain and Katherine O'Kain, both settled in South Carolina. Occupation: Wheelwright and Farmer.
Married: Mary Ann (Polly) James (1811 - 1883) in Dickson C ounty, TN
Children of William and Mary James O'Kain:
(1) Mary Rachel O'Kain of Cumberland Furnace, TN (Dickson County
Married Allen Ruffin Workman II - buried Cumberland Furnace, TN, Dcounty.
Shad sx children
(2) William John O'Kain, Sr. (9/14/1846 - 5/2/1904) Dickson County, TN
Married Mary Elizabeth Hagewood (1847 - 1914) in 1865.
Buried in O'Kain Cemetery, Miller's Chapel, Dickson County, TN.
Had eleven children
