James Cane (Cain)..may have traveled with a Garrett Fitzgerald and Edward Cane

Hi All,

Looking for a James Cane/Cain that may have traveled with a Garrett Fitzgerald. The James I am looking for would have been born in Co. Meath Ireland, may have come over to the US about 1852 in MASS with a brother Edward and then traveled west to Atchison KS. I have an Edward and James Cane listed living with the Fitzgeralds in the 1860 census. Edward eventually married Johanna Fitzgerald and moved to Marysville KS. Johanna's brothers James Fitzgerald and William (A catholic priest) also settled in the Marysville area. Her brother Garrett and James Cane/Cain didn't follow them, so I am taking a shot as to them traveling together and hoping that I can find someone that may have some information to get Edward and James hooked together and traced back to Ireland.
Thanks,
M. Conner
