Major David Cant--Virginia in early 1600's

I am looking for information on Major David Cant. He was an early settler in Gloucester County, Virginia, serving in the house of burgesses in 1659-60. He married an unknown daughter of Augustine Warner, and they had sons, Augustine, David, Walter, and probably John (Virginia Genealogies and Biographies, House of Burgesses and Other Prominent Persons, p. 203. Genealogy.com Internet).

I can't find any information on his birth or death place, or his ancestors.
Thanks, Janis Durfee
