Hi Emma,
I wrote directly to your email address but perhaps you never got it so I am writing here as well. Yes, the Margaret Cant who married John Gill was my great grandfather's sister. In my computer files I don't have any children for them but my mum found some information which I must have missed when entering names into the computer. However, I think that my Nanna, who is now dead, must have given us the names as there are no dates with them. It would be wonderful to get in contact with your daughter's friend. I can send any information that I have regarding the Cants and where I fit in, and I would love to get their family's information as well.
