Sorry I didn't see your post sooner, but I changed ISP's and didn't get notified when you posted.

The William Spradling that was b. 1770 & m. Margaret ??? isn't my line.

If you can believe it, there were 2 William Spradlings living in the same small area of Jefferson Co. AL bef. 1820. As far as I can tell, they aren't related. They each had 9 children, and 5 of the childrens names appear in each family. I barked up the wrong family tree for several years, so I have a good bit of information on this line.

William (b.1770) died in 1856 and left and incredible will. I know that most of his family moved away, but I can remember exactly where they all settled. The good news is that William's will lists where each child is living in 1856, right down to the Post Office. I don't have this information on my computer, since it isn't my line, but I do have a copy of the will somewhere.

Give me a few days to locate it, and I'll get back to you.
I'm fairly certain that at least one of Wm's children wound up in MO.
