Elizabeth Spradling Edwards - wife of Rev. John Edwards.
Daughter of William Spradling & Sarah Elizabeth Canterbury.

Elizabeth was b. October 15, 1810 and d. January 23, 1897.

If you go to and search under cemeteries, re Edwards - Alabama, that should take you to the Edwards cemetery in Jefferson County, Alabama where you will find the listing for Elizabeth (Spradling) Edwards, and a photo of her grave marker.

Also listed with photos of their gravemarkers are Elizabeth's husband and two of her sons.

The sons, William Crabb Edwards, and Sylvester F.H. Edwards were Confederate soldiers, and both were killed during the Civil War, thus their gravemarkers are memorials

Hope this is of some help ~ Judy
