Buenos dias,

Thank you for your response. I have just now undertaken this research process and am new to everything. I have a fried who has been helping me. The information that I am giving you below is from the paperwork that I received from my family in April of 1966.

"I know that many people believe that Jedithen Canterbury and Ann Canterbury were the parents of Nimrod Charles, John, Benjamin and Reuben Canterbury of Kentucky."

But I have yet to find a single document that connects them. Have you found such a document??

These are the notes attached to the Jedithen Canterbury page that I have.

My records show the children of Jedithen Gideon Canterbury and Nancy Anne Franklin are:

John DOB about 1775 in Virginia
Reuben C DOB about 1777 in Virginia
Nimrod DOB about 1778 in ??
Benjamin DOB 1780 in NC

Information on this sheet obtained from:
1790 census Wilks Co., NC
1810 census Greenup Co., Ky
1820 census Greenup Co., Ky
1830 census Lawence Co, Kansas
Lincoln Co. Ky marriage (Nimrod)
Greenup Co. Ky "
History of Audrain Co. Mo
History of Cass and Bates Co, Mo
Genealogy of the Cleveland Family, Cleveand

Seperate Note:

1790 census - Wilkes Co. NC - Morgan District

Anne Canterbury - 3 sons uner 16 yrs. of age with note: "This is probably Nacy, wife of jedithen and the oldest son away from home when the census was taken. Anne appears on the census page with Bernard George Franklin.. her brothers.

I am not sure of any of the above information will be beneficial or not but I thank you for your post. I am trying to learn out to research and get back to the past. BJ Sweitzer
