Thanks for writing. The earliest Capek that I have is Vaclac Capek who was married to Josephine Kupka. My husband's great grandfather was one of Vaclav's sons, Stanislav Capek who married Antonia Franta. Stanislav also had a brother that came to the US.. his name was Bohumil Capek. Bohumil married Barbara Srail. Antonia Franta's parents were Frank Franta and Mary Kupka. Does any of this sound familiar to you? Stanislav and Bohumil and the other siblings were born in Krise, Czecholslovakia. I am not sure exactly how many siblings there were, since Stanislav and Bohumil were the only ones to come to the United States. Stanislav was born April 17, 1887 Does any of this sound familiar to you? We have letters from a Miroslav Franta, but I cannot read the language, and I have had no luck getting them translated to english. Thanks again, and I hope to hear from you again soon.
