I am a Capezza decedent. There are several variation of the name as some of them changed the spelling after emigrating from Italy to america. I do not have much, but I will give you what I have. My family spells it Capeza but I know some of the relative in this line spell it Capezza. It was also spell Cappezza Me - Lisa Ireland My Mother: Norma L. Capeza (b. 6/8/1937, d. 19 feb 1989) m. Edward J. Ireland Norma's Father: Anthony Capeza (b. 13 may 1911 d. feb 1984) (not sur where born but resided in Ocean City, NJ m. Lucille Bergen (originally from PA) Anthony's Capeza's father's name was Michael (Michele I believe is the Italian verson) and he emigranted from Italy, I believe from the area you mention. His wife (whose name i do not know) also emigranted from Italy and was a male order bride. Michele (Michael) Capezza and ? had other children besides my grandfather as follows: Nancy Capezza (married a man named Moore) Andrew Capeza both of these individuals resided in Cape May County. If this rings any bell, please let me know. I have not had a lot of luck with this portion of my family since my mother lost contact with her family. What is your line to the Capezza family?
