Is it possible that this Robert Caples, Sr., had been married in 1807 to Nancy Annie Haslup back in Baltimore? Between 1808 and 1821 Robert Caples and Nancy Annie Haslup had 8 children in Maryland. The dates don't quite match up, but I have found them (Nancy Haslup & Nancy Davis) on Ancestry.com as both being married to the same Robert Caples! What do you think?
