I am pretty sure I found your Lawson Caplinger in Tuolumne Co. California where quite a few of our Caplinger's lived and tried thier hand at mining. I just recieved this obit copied from "The Banner",Sonora.
I found Lawson in the 1936 CADI and his date of death is listed; 12/5/1936.
I was unable to locate Anna or Lee.
It mentions a cousin, Ernest Caplinger. He was the son of my George Milton Caplinger whose father was Moses Caplinger. I hope this helps. I would love to hear your comments and also from other Caplinger researchers. Oscar
