Gloria, back again. In the 1850 Williamson Co. census I found:
Springs, Benjamin age 47 male farmer born Tenn.
Spring Evaline 22 female Tenn
Springs Barselda 18 female Tenn
Springs William P. 16 male Tenn
Springs Benjamine F. 13 male Ill
Springs Moses W. 8 male Ill

It looks like his wife is dead and that they came to Illinois about 1837.

I don't know what is wrong with my @ key it doesn't look like an a, if you get this try getting me tonight. I live in Northern Illinois and I will be up for a few more hours tonight.
