lester caplinger does not sound familiar. my grandfathers name was carl luther caplinger and his parents were orvle and alice caplinger. i really don't know much more about that side of my family. they really didn't get along very well and therefore did not spend much time together. at least, that is what i can gather from my mom (talking about my dad's family). my dad recently retired and in talking about a retirement party, i suggested that we invite some of his caplinger cousins. she stressed that dad's cousins probably wouldn't show up.
anyway, i think my grandpa (carl) had a brother named joe. i haven't really started any research yet.
does any of this info coincide with yours?
