I'm surprised that no one has answered your post. I hope you have found the answer before now, but just in case:

Jacob Caplinger b. Sep 1811, Highland Co., OH d. 02 Feb 1877, Pike Co., OH. Was the son of William Caplinger & Magdalena Matilda Caplinger (William & Magdalena were cousins). Jacob married Christene (Tene) Setty.
