Abraham vs Betsey Caplinger. (Filed Oct. 16, 1823) Divorce. Plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 3, 1809 he married Betsey Ninemire in Rockingham Co., VA. They lived together 8 or 9 years, having removed to Highland Co. In April 1818, defendant abandoned him and ran off with Daniel Rockwell, she having descended the Ohio River with him to parts unknown. There was issue of said marriage. Gounds: Abandonment fro more than three years. (Supreme Court Record B, page 233).

Mary "Polly" Keplinger, born: Highland Co., OH., 26 Apr. ?, d/o Abraham (1791-1846) & Mrs. Susanna Thompson (Widow),Keplinger. She married: William Yarger, Highland Co., 26 Sept. 1844. William, s/o Joseph & Mary Rebecca Yarger. I show six children. First child was John Wesley Yarger, born: Highland Co., OH., 30 June 1845. Married: Elizabeth Ann Hammond.
July Term 1846. Will Contest. Plaintiffs alledge that Polly Yarger, formerly Caplinger is the only child and heir of Abraham Caplinger, de'd. Sussanah is the widow of the deceased. 25 acres to the plaintiffs.
